Overview

International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to confirm that Helen Faulkner has officially taken up the role of Managing Partner, succeeding David Pollitt, who has completed two successful five-year terms leading the firm.

Helen's appointment marks the start of a new chapter for DACB, following another year of strong financial performance and international expansion.  Under her leadership, the firm will continue to build on the foundations established during David's decade at the helm, driving sustainable growth, deepening client relationships and investing in people, innovation and technology.

Previously the firm's Head of Insurance, Helen has been a member of DACB's Executive Committee for a number of years and has played a key role in shaping the firm's strategy and international development.  She led DACB's largest practice area through a period of substantial growth, cementing the firm's reputation as a market leader in insurance and as a trusted global adviser.

Commenting on her appointment, Helen said, "It is a privilege to take on the role of Managing Partner at such an exciting time in DACB's journey.  Thanks to David and his vision, we have grown significantly in recent years, both in scale and in ambition, and put strong foundations in place.  Our focus now is on building a business that is even more agile, modern and client-centred.  We will continue to invest in our people, technology and our global platform to ensure we remain the firm of choice for clients and talent alike."

Outgoing Managing Partner David Pollitt added, "It has been an honour to serve as DACB's Managing Partner for the past ten years.  Our firm has gone from strength to strength, growing our revenues, broadening our international reach, and developing an inclusive, collaborative culture that underpins everything we do.  Helen has been instrumental in shaping that journey and is exceptionally well placed to lead DACB into the future.  I have every confidence the firm will continue to thrive under her leadership."
