International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce the appointment of Kat Barry as its new Head of Responsible Business.

Kat, a qualified solicitor with significant experience in shaping and delivering sustainable business strategy, joins DACB from Mishcon de Reya where she played a key role in defining the firm's sustainability focus and leading its implementation.

Prior to this, Kat was Head of Expert Advice at Citizens Advice. At the early stages of her career she worked as a Solicitor Advocate at Herbert Smith Freehills and co-founded a Business in Human Rights Group within the firm.

In her role at DACB, Kat will develop and manage the firm's strategic plans across all aspects of Responsible Business, driving the agenda on pro bono, community targets, environmental sustainability, and firmwide engagement in Responsible Business initiatives.
