David Pollitt is the Managing Partner of DAC Beachcroft LLP. He took up the role from 1 November 2015. David is also a member of the firm's Executive Board.

Previously head of the firm's market-leading Insurance sector for six years, David has acted on some of the most significant international insurance litigation and multi-jurisdictional disputes of the last two decades. 

Under his leadership, the firm's insurance sector grew stronger in reputation and capabilities, not least through the opening of new offices in emerging markets such as Colombia and Chile, representative offices in New York and Miami and association agreements in Canada, Malaysia and Brazil.

His practice covers the full range of commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on complex commercial disputes, banking litigation, regulatory investigations, professional indemnity insurance litigation, D&O insurance claims, warranty claims, and shareholder disputes.
