Michael is a corporate lawyer based in our Bristol office. Michael advises public and private companies and public sector bodies on a broad range of corporate transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, buy-outs, and equity fundraisings.

• Advising Landsec on the purchase of its stake in the Liverpool One shopping centre
• Advising Quintain (the UK developer backed by Lone Star) on the disposal of two BTR schemes totalling 490 homes to funds managed by KKR
• Advising the founding shareholders of TC Group, the top 20 accountancy firm, on its strategic investment from Inflexion
• Working with TC Group on numerous acquisitions throughout the UK
• Advising the UK arm of the deVere Group on its strategic partnership with Fidelius Group

• Working with Southampton NHS Foundation Trust on the disposal of the Complete Fertility Centre to Virtus Health
• Advising the shareholders of The Serviced Apartment Company on its disposal to Oaktree Capital
• Advising Ultrahaptics on a number of fundraising rounds, including on its oversubscribed $82m Series D fundraising
• Advising Ultrahaptics on its acquisition of Silicon Valley based Leap Motion
• Working with the management of financial services group CapQuest on the £158m sale of the group to Arrow Global
