    Dan advises insurers on a wide range of indemnity, property damage, and liability matters.

    Dan has extensive experience of advising on first party and liability wordings and has a particular expertise in fair presentation and e-underwriting issues. He frequently represents insurers in indemnity disputes including those before the FOS.

    In addition to advising on claims, Dan has experience of reviewing wordings and clause drafting.

    Featured experience:

    Dan’s reported cases include Bell & Anor v Northumbrian Water Ltd [2016] EWHC 133 (TCC), MacPhail v Allianz Insurance plc [2023] EWHC 1035 (Ch) and Mode Management Ltd v AXA Insurance UK Plc [2025] EWHC 2035 (Comm).
