Nick is a construction specialist who acts for all participants in the construction supply chain and their professional indemnity insurers. He has extensive experience of litigation (to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court), arbitration, and adjudication as well as the resolution of disputes via mediation and negotiation.

In the past year, Nick has successfully represented the Defendant contractor in the Supreme Court case Abbey Healthcare (Mill Hill) Limited v Augusta 2008 LLP (formerly Simply Construct UK LLP) [2024] UKSC 23, which decided that a collateral warranty does not constitute a warranty for the purposes of the Housing Grant Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 and therefore does not benefit from statutory adjudication.

Nick is also currently acting for a PLC multi-disciplinary consultancy practice, a PLC main contractor and a leading UK product supplier on high value and complex professional negligence disputes.
