Emma Jackson is a Partner and leads the Casualty Injury Team in Bristol and Newport. She has worked at DAC Beachcroft since 2014 having previously worked at Morgan Cole dealing exclusively with defendant insurance claims.

Emma handles claims for various insurers and specialises in employers liability and public liability cases involving complex injury, including chronic pain, CRPS and fatal accidents. She also has extensive experience of dealing with contentious liability issues.

Emma works closely with clients to identify and implement operational efficiencies.

Relevant experience includes:

• Securing a discontinuance at trial on a claim arising from an attempted suicide and which gave rise to a number of public policy issues.
• Advising on a claim for chronic pain, which was struck out because of the claimant’s failure to comply with his obligations under the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Securing a trial win on a trespass case involving minors setting fire to property.
• Securing a discontinuance on a claim with adverse costs award against the claimant, arising from potential fundamental dishonesty.
