Richard has over 20 years of experience advising clients in heavily regulated sectors on complex, sensitive, and reputationally impactful employment matters. Richard is a noted litigation specialist, regularly acting for financial services, insurance, and real estate clients in the defence of complex and high value claims, including whistleblowing and discrimination, in the Employment Tribunal, EAT and Court of Appeal. He also advises on restrictive covenant enforcement action in the High Court.

Richard has a thriving advisory practice, covering all day-to-day employment relations matters as well as senior hires and exits, the resolution of sensitive disputes, and advice on more complex projects – collective redundancy, business acquisitions, disposals, and TUPE transfers.
