Overview

International law firm DAC Beachcroft is today launching the twenty-fifth edition of Health Adviser – the firm's flagship publication for the health and social care sector – focused on the theme of 'Fresh thinking for healthcare leaders'.

The magazine features commentary, insights and opinions from DACB's industry-leading health lawyers, as well as the views and perspectives of senior health professionals working in the NHS and independent healthcare.

The latest issue of Health Adviser considers a range of issues, including how the UK could learn from international care models, the transformative role of AI in early cancer diagnosis, and examples of initiatives which are already supporting the Government's prevention-led agenda for improved health outcomes.

The full list of topics is:

  • New models of care from around the world
  • Our wishlist for the NHS 10 Year Health Plan
  • Strategies for delivering the prevention agenda
  • The rise of consumerisation in healthcare
  • The transformative potential of AI in early diagnosis

DACB’s Head of Health, Hamza Drabu, says, "The challenges facing health and social care today are well documented, from demographic pressures and widening health inequalities to workforce constraints and financial strain. Within and beyond the NHS, however, there is a growing recognition that fresh thinking is not a luxury, but a necessity. And with this recognition comes a growing appetite for new ideas and innovative solutions that can reshape healthcare.

"Health Adviser sets out to provide senior decision makers from across the healthcare community with a platform to collaborate and share ideas which inspire and drive meaningful change across the sector, and generate discussions which contribute to a healthcare landscape that is both sustainable and equipped to meet the needs of future generations."
