Erik Santos Young is a Franco-Colombian dual-qualified lawyer admitted to practice in both jurisdictions. His practice focuses on international litigation, cross-border dispute resolution, and insurance law. He advises insurers and multinational clients on complex claims involving industrial risks, product liability, construction defects, and contractual liability, including mass torts and large losses, with a particular emphasis on matters involving Latin America and Europe.

Before joining DAC Beachcroft, Erik gained major experience in both the public and private sectors, notably as a legal advisor to the Colombian National Assembly and as in-house counsel for a financial institution.

He was admitted to the Colombian Bar in 2017 and to the Paris Bar in 2025.
